I apologize for not posting any pictures yesterday - I forgot to charge my camera's battery! To make up for it, I promised the students that I would upload pictures today of both our reading lesson AND a couple pics of my own puppy dog. During Reading time, students were given their own copy of A Dog's Life by Ann M. Martin to begin our 5th grade Take-Home Reading Assignment. Over the next 2 weeks, students will be reading a chapter a day from Ms. Martin's book. We discussed the characters, and made predictions about the plot today in class. I can't wait to find out what happens in the story!
